Boardgame Review: Sushi Go Party!

Are you into Japanese Cuisine? Are you interested in cute artwork? if yes, then this game, Sushi Go Party is for you! This is visually attractive and the game is very easy and fast-paced. This set is a very entertaining game that anyone can enjoy. The game comes in a tin can packaging with embossed artwork. 

Inside the tin can is a set of cards, tokens, and a small foldable game board. This game is for 2-8 players. It's for ages 8+ and playing time is almost 20 mins (depends on how experienced the players are in playing this game) . 

The mechanics of the game is very simple, inside the rule book is a menu combination that players can select which menu to play depending on the difficulty level of the play set-up. Each menu comes with  list of cards that players must assemble, collect, and arrange enable for them to score points at the end of each round. 

The game operates in a "Pick and Pass" manner wherein each player is given a set of cards in hand at the beginning of the game and they choose one card to keep and lay on the table, the cards that remain are then passed on to the next player and so on. The game ends when all the cards on hand are dealt on the table and the cards that each player has collected will be counted according to their corresponding points. The player with most points wins the round. 

This game comes with a card description, each of the cards can let you make a combo if you match it with another or if you collect the same piece of card. There are special cards that lets you steal from your opponent's hand or lets you put down 2 cards at once. It depends on how you arrange your food combinations and outwit each player for you to score a lot of points at the end of the game.

Sushi Go Party is a very easy game and it's visually attractive to lure in new players to try it out. We purchased this game at Fortress Games in Greenhills and for a price of 1k+ we can say this game is a blockbuster in every game night. Worth the price~!
