Hello everyone, after a long hiatus from blogging I am back today with a very visually stunning game published by BLAM! This game is called Celestia. Celestia is a revamped version of an earlier board game called cloud 9. In this game, Celestia, the players will be taking the role of adventurers boarding an airship to travel across cities and gather treasures.  Each adventurer will be assigned an airship captain among them and he will fly the airship to traverse different locations in Celestia. It's a matter of trust v.s. greed in this gameplay as the adventurers will decide if they will get off the airship to collect treasures in a certain city or they will go with the captain to continue the journey enable for them to score bigger treasures in a different city.  In every turn, the role of the captain changes. Think about "Chemistry Class" in a School wherein your role as a student is changed as an apprentice Witch/Wizard and you are having Potion Making Class instead. Reminds you a lot of Harry Potter eh? It's pretty much like that! Your goal in the game is to make a potion by gathering ingredients and also triggering explosions to increase your chances of getting more ingredients from the dispenser.  Potion explosion is a 2-4 player game published by HG (Horrible Games). Have you ever had the urge to poison one of your friends? Ofcourse, you don't! BUT this game will make you change your mind. Raise your Goblets is a 2-12 player game for ages 8+ (it is actually a 2-6 player game but you can combine another set to make it to a 12-player game) and it comes with a unique twist of components that will make you appreciate the game even more. It comes with a set of goblets and color-coded goblet rings that you will attach to the bottom of your goblet. A picture is worth a thousand words and we find that quite true because this game will really test your power of description. Dixit is a 3-6 player game for ages 8+. In Dixit, each player takes the role of a storyteller and during his turn he will be describing the photos he have in his hand. The game contains wonderful and whimsical artworks that are visually stimulating and will cause the player a word vomit of adjectives all throughout the game. The game starts with all the players selecting a BUNNY TOKEN of their chosen color, these bunnies will be set on the starting point of the boardgame. Each round when a player scores a point, the tokens would advance depending on the number of points each player can score. Whoever reaches 30 points first wins the game. Horror-themed games are a hit in our play group. It gives you a sense of excitement and eagerness to win over it at all cost. Betrayal at House on the Hill is a perfect recipe in a thematic "choose your own adventure" mode of playing. This game is a wonderful collection for those who wants a new adventure everytime you lay it out on the table. Our playgroup's copy consists of the base game "Betrayal at House on the Hill" and it's expansion "Widow's Walk". You can purchase the base game and it comes with 50 scenarios that you can experience playing, I doubt that you will be able to repeat a story scenario the 2nd time you play it. Are you into Japanese Cuisine? Are you interested in cute artwork? if yes, then this game, Sushi Go Party is for you! This is visually attractive and the game is very easy and fast-paced. This set is a very entertaining game that anyone can enjoy. The game comes in a tin can packaging with embossed artwork.  Inside the tin can is a set of cards, tokens, and a small foldable game board. This game is for 2-8 players. It's for ages 8+ and playing time is almost 20 mins (depends on how experienced the players are in playing this game) .  The mechanics of the game is very simple, inside the rule book is a menu combination that players can select which menu to play depending on the difficulty level of the play set-up.
